Owner | CF L2 Coach

Megan Hannah

Hey, I’m Megan. CrossFit found me 14 years ago and quickly became my sport after college soccer ended. I was drawn to what our bodies are capable of when we challenge them the right way, and I wanted to help people tap into that in a way that felt progressive, empowering, and fun.

My family is my world. My husband Justin and our 4 kids Preston, Taytum, Kinley, and Clay keep life full, along with our dogs Kallie and Moose. Outside the gym, I play indoor soccer and pickleball, spend as much time outdoors as possible, and love hiking, camping, being on the water, golfing, snowboarding, and traveling with my family. When life slows down, I really enjoy cooking.

Cleans are hands down my favorite movement, while the Bike is…eww! A few fun facts about me: I’ve broken 7 bones, including my jaw, I make massive balloon arches for each of my kids’ birthdays, and if I could only eat one food forever, it would be chips. I probably wouldn’t live very long.

What I love about Snake River is simple and powerful. We do the common uncommonly well. This gym is full of genuine humans who show up for each other with humility and unity. Our coaching staff is constantly evolving to hold high standards while keeping members safe and progressing. The impact we’ve made in our community isn’t because of one person. It’s collective. It’s a team. And I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.

Owner

Justin Hannah

I’m Justin, often known around the gym as “I dunno, ask Megan.”

I’m married to Megan Hannah and a Dad to Preston, Taytum, Kinley, and Clay. Our family also includes Kallie and Moose (dogs, of course… not cats).

I’ve been doing CrossFit off and on since 2009 and am still working on getting good at it…maybe one day. I started coaching because Megan Hannah said so. That’s pretty much the story.

Outside of Snake River CrossFit, I co-own The Home Building Company and spend most of my time balancing work, family, and whatever project seems like a good idea at the moment.

Bench press is my favorite movement, while Thrusters are my least favorite. Outside the gym, I enjoy riding dirt bikes, eating junk food, and traveling with the family. Fun fact: I’m addicted to podcasts. I’ve picked up a lot of random knowledge along the way, but don’t ask me anything too practical.

What I love most about Snake River is the community and the effort our staff puts in every day to make it a great place.

CF L2 Coach | Nutrition Coach

Ashlee Toland

My name is Ashlee, but most people call me Ash. I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2010. I originally became a coach because I wanted a job I loved and felt passionate about. I’ve stayed a coach because of the community and the positive impact CrossFit has on so many lives.

My family includes my husband Josh, our daughters Olivia and Zoey, our dog Blue, and our cat Ted.

I don’t really have a favorite movement because I enjoy most of them, EXCEPT Burpees…those are the worst. Outside the gym, I spend a lot of time with my family outdoors during the summer. If I’m not outside, I’m probably reading. A fun fact about me is that I played Division I soccer.

What I love most about Snake River is the people. Everyone shows up wanting to better themselves and cheer others on toward their goals.

Coach

Baylie Josephson

Hi, I’m Baylie. I’ve been doing CrossFit for about 10 years, and it completely changed my life. I became a coach because I couldn’t get enough of it and wanted to support other people as they work toward becoming their best selves.

My family includes my husband Kallton, our kids Theo and Spencer, and our dogs Rogue, Finley, and Mae.

Deadlifts are my favorite movement, and Up-Downs are my least favorite. For fun, I obviously love CrossFit, but I also enjoy mountain biking and snowboarding when I can, especially now that I have kids.

What I love about Snake River is the community and the constant challenge it provides to grow and be a better human.

CF L2 Coach

Bethaney Clark

My name is Bethaney, also known as Becky or Bethy. I started CrossFit in 2013 and was only about a month in when Snake River CrossFit celebrated its first anniversary.

My family includes my husband Greg and our cat Sami. When I was invited to coach at Snake River, it felt like a dream. I had received so much from this place, and I wanted to be part of it in a bigger way and do for others what Snake River had done for me. Coaching is about weights and personal growth, but for me it’s really 10% percent love for CrossFit and 90% love for the people here.

Anything heavy with a barbell is my favorite, especially the Snatch. Thrusters are my least favorite, so basically all things barbell unless it’s Thrusters.
I love anything involving water. The ocean is my favorite, but I also love floating the river, sitting by it, listening to it, and even napping by it. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, long road trips, traveling, slow days with puzzles, writing, playing guitar, singing karaoke, and being an auntie. I’m the youngest of four with three older brothers, (I’m scrappy).

What I love about Snake River is the heart and integrity of the people. This place has a way of helping people rebuild from the inside out, and that growth spills over into families, workplaces, and communities. Whatever someone is looking for, they can find it here.

CF Level 2 Coach

Josh Simon

Hello everyone! My name is Josh, and I’ll be the coach leading and motivating you through Saturday classes. I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 8 years now, with two of those spent coaching as a Level 2 here at Snake River CrossFit.
I wanted to become a coach to help athletes move well and build strong, functional movement they can use every day for a better life outside the gym. I’m currently in school working toward becoming a medical professional, so when I’m not at the gym, there’s a good chance I’m sitting somewhere studying.
Fun fact: I also have a second life in aviation as both a pilot and a mechanic.
I’ve spent my entire CrossFit journey at SRCF. What started as an attempt to get fitter quickly turned into being part of an incredible community that I now consider family here in Nampa. I’ve loved every day here and can’t wait to see you in Saturday classes.

CF L1 Coach

Jaryd Weakley

My name is Jaryd Weakley. I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost seven years and became a coach because I enjoy helping people push outside their comfort zones and realize they can push themselves more than they think.

My family includes my parents Marty and Diana, my twin brother Austin, my sister Sheridan, and my dog Beans.

Muscle ups in any form are my favorite movement, while pistols are my least favorite. Outside the gym, I enjoy golfing, hanging out with my dog, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors. A fun fact about me is that I played college baseball.

What I love about Snake River CrossFit is the people. The members I get to coach and train alongside are the reason I love being here, and the owners are pretty dang cool too.

CF L1 Coach

Kaila Sanchez

My name is Kaila, also known as Kay or Lala. I’ve been doing CrossFit for about eight years and coaching felt like a natural next step to deepen my relationships and continue growing at Snake River.

My family includes my husband Cristian, our boys Arlo and Ezra, our cat Cocoa, and our dog Kovu. Cleans are my favorite movement because they make me feel powerful, while running is my least favorite.

I enjoy working out, baking, chasing my boys, and enjoying the finer things like a great cup of decaf coffee, a good book, or trying something new with my husband. A fun fact about me is that I have a twin sister named Katie.

What I love about Snake River CrossFit is the community. The people here are genuine, supportive, and the relationships extend far beyond the gym.

CF L1 Coach

Korey Cline

My name is Korey, also known as Korky or Korndog. I’ve been doing CrossFit since 2016 and became a coach because I’m passionate about people and helping them discover their strength and potential.

My family includes my husband Tyler and our dogs Bear and Winston.

Thrusters are my favorite movement, while Overhead Squats are my least favorite. Outside the gym, I enjoy doing just about anything with my little family, from walks and hikes to camping and road trips.

What I love most about Snake River is the people. From the moment I walked in, this community has impacted my life in meaningful ways, and every person here brings something special.

Kezia Young

Hey, my name is Kezia. I’ve been doing CrossFit for about 9 years and became a coach because I love pushing myself to constantly become a better version of me. Being able to teach others something I’m passionate about is incredibly fulfilling.

My family includes my husband Chris, our boys Kaius and Macallan, and our dog Knox.

Box Jump Overs and Pistols are my favorite movements, while Devil’s Press is my least favorite. Outside the gym, I love spending time with my family, hiking, camping, coaching nutrition, learning through health podcasts and books, thrifting, and cooking. A favorite travel memory of mine is rock climbing in the Italian Alps.

What I love about Snake River is the community. It’s an incredible place to grow my family in such a loving and supportive environment.

CF L2 Coach

Leona Sandoval

My name is Leona, though some people around the gym know me as Lady Leona. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 8 years, and I became a coach because I truly fell in love with teaching movement. Being part of something that can drastically change the trajectory of someone’s life is incredibly meaningful to me.
My family includes my husband and our 2 kids. Outside the gym, I love being active with them or completely lazy, depending on the day. I also enjoy reading, baking, going for walks, and spending time at coffee shops.

Pistols are my favorite movement, while Shuttle Runs are my least favorite. A fun fact about me is that I earned my junior black belt in Hapkido at age 11 and my adult black belt at 16.

What I love about Snake River is the community. No matter what class you attend, you are welcomed and encouraged. There is so much positivity across all levels of athleticism. We celebrate scaled athletes getting their first pull up just as much as RX athletes stringing together bar muscle ups. I also love how open our athletes are to coaching. They listen, apply feedback, and work hard to meet the standard, and that makes coaching here incredibly rewarding.

CF L2 Coach

Megan Perry

My name is Megan Perry, but you might hear me called Squirrel Megan or Yoga Megan. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 5 years and became a coach because I love helping people get back to loving their bodies and what they can do.

My family includes my husband Jeff, daughter Hadley, son James, and our dog Mack.

Power Cleans are my favorite movement, while Thrusters are my least favorite. Outside the gym, I love being outdoors. Camping, paddle boarding, and hiking fill my summers. I also enjoy sketching and watercolor. A fun fact about me is that there are always at least 3 squirrels in my house at any given time.

What I love about Snake River is how people show up for themselves and for each other. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and phases of life, but the shared goal is always the same. To become a stronger, better version of themselves, together.

Melissa 2026

Melissa Curnutt

Hi, I’m Melissa, and I’ve been doing CrossFit for 12 years. I became a coach because I love helping people realize they are capable of more than they think.

My family includes my husband Andy, our kids Brighton, Austin, and Emery, and our dogs Buster and Posey.

Gymnastics movements are my favorite, while Sumo Deadlift High Pulls are my least favorite. Outside the gym, I enjoy working out and spending time with my family. A fun fact about me is that I love baseball. Go Giants!

What I love about Snake River is everything. The community here is unmatched, the coaches are incredible, and the Hannahs truly lead from the front as owners.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Coach | CPM | LM

Rachel Mast

My name is Rachel, but most people call me Rach. I started CrossFit at the beginning of 2012, just 6 months after Snake River CrossFit opened, and it has been a huge part of my life ever since.

My family includes my husband Joshua, our son Fitzgerald, and our daughter Grey. Before CrossFit, I coached gymnastics and have always enjoyed movement and fitness. I became a coach because I love seeing the pride that comes with people getting stronger, faster, happier, or simply feeling better in their bodies. Movement can be transformative both physically and mentally, and seeing that change fills my heart.

In 2020, I became a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach because I felt pregnant and postpartum athletes were underserved and I wanted more knowledge to guide them appropriately. It brings me so much joy to coach moms through pregnancy and help them return to fitness postpartum.
I’m also a midwife. I began my career in midwifery at the same time I started CrossFit and have attended over 600 births. My work in healthcare has taken me to places like the Philippines, India, and Africa.

Cleans of all varieties are my favorite movement. My least favorite is probably Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups or Running. It’s hard to choose.

What I love about Snake River is the community. It’s supportive, kind, and genuinely fun to be part of.

CF L1 Coach

Shawna Santangelo

Hi, I’m Shawna, though some people know me as Brenda. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 14 years and became a coach with the hope of being as impactful for others as my coaches were for me.

My family includes my husband Vin, our daughter Soli, and our dog-son Duncan.

Double Unders and Kettlebell Snatches are my favorite movements, while Wall Walks are my least favorite. Outside the gym, I enjoy drinking coffee, playing pickleball, and hiking in places most people don’t go. A fun fact about me is that I played college basketball at the majestic height of 5’3’’, and I have stents in my veins.

What I love about Snake River is how many lives have been impacted and how deeply the community is woven together outside the gym.

Advanced Sports Performance Coach | Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach

Tony Ober

My name is Tony. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 13 years and became a coach through my work with athletes, including coaching my son, Brandon, at Youth Nationals.

My family includes Brandon, and animals Speedy, and Will. The Snatch is my favorite movement, while Nordic Curls are my least favorite.

Outside the gym, I enjoy fly fishing, hunting, and lifting. A fun fact about me is that I’ve been to Paris 22 times and have caught fish on a fly rod on both sides of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

What I love about Snake River is the quality of humans. Hands down.

Duncan Winstead Santangelo

Hi, I’m Duncan, most people call me Dunky or Duntin. I’ve been part of CrossFit for about 3 years, and while my technique is questionable, my enthusiasm is unmatched.

My favorite movement is treeing squirrels, and my least favorite is timeout. Hard pass on that one.

When I’m not in the gym, you’ll usually find me sprinting through the mountains, taking long naps on my bean bag, or pretending to hunt for fish in the river. I’m very convincing.

My favorite thing about Snake River is the whiteboard brief, mostly because it gives me the perfect excuse to make the rounds. I take attendance very seriously, stopping by each member to say hello and confirm they’re ready to work…usually in exchange for a quick pat-pat.
